Debra Hawkinson and Angela Cohen have recently joined Network Mortgage Services and will work at the Lynnwood Home Loan Center.
Hawkinson joins the company after working for Washington Mutual Bank. Prior to Washington Mutual, Hawkinson worked for MortgageInfoLine for 5 years. She is a native of Washington State and currently resides in Everett.
Cohen and her family also reside in Everett, Washington. Previously, she worked for Golf Savings Bank and American Home Mortgage. Cohen focuses on homebuyer education and is a certified instructor for the Washington State Housing Finance Commission. She is a graduate of Xinnix Mortgage Academy in Atlanta, Georgia, where she earned the title of Xinnix Certified Originator. The program included 90 different technical, financial, and business courses totaling more than 400 hours of education and training. Prior to the mortgage business, she worked in the field of financial planning for eight years. She is a Registered Para-planner and holds several NASD securities licenses.
Network Mortgage, founded in 1987, is privately held, and is the only independently owned mortgage banking company headquartered in Lynnwood. The company originates loans in seven states through both a retail loan center and a wholesale lending channel and maintains approvals from HUD, VA, multiple institutional investors and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac).
